Earth Water is a Canadian bottled water company that has pledged 100% of net profits to the UN Refugee Agency

(UNHCR) to support water projects for refugees.

Earth Water features biodegrable bottles for it's bottled water. Here are some interesting facts on the bottle:

The bottles are made from an anually renewable resource; the most common type of corn variety.During production the bottles use 65% less fossil resourses, (oil and natural gas) are used compared to traditional plastic.Contributes 65% less greenhouse gases to the atmosphere than traditional plastic.Can be disposed of through regular waste disposal methods, such as landfill or recycling, or it can be composted at an industrial composting facility.Will not degrade on the self and the product maintains its integrity during use.

Cold water to drink - from your fridge

A quick tip for water conservation - most tap water in Canada is perfectly suitable to drink. To conserve the water that it takes to get a glass of cold water, simply fill a pitcher and put it in your fridge. It also allows for any chlorine to dissapate.
